I've been living in this townhome for about 3 weeks now, and the place itself is actually quite nice. It's hard to explain what it is that makes a place seem comfortable to me, but this place does. The last place was nearly as nice, but it just didn't ever feel comfortable. I can't explain why. This place does

Yes. Cable I can live without. What could have been a nice home with a lot of easy network potential being botched up so badly would make me slap the complex owners. X(

Slapping complex owners is a thought that has crossed my mind a few times.

I've been pondering if I should schedule a meeting with a manager here and explore if there are even other options that can be considered, though I kind of doubt they're open to it. Maybe ask if they mind if I somehow distribute a survey around the community and get a sense of what people think of the service and if the masses are unhappy with it..maybe get the ball rolling on some kind of improvement, somehow.

Maybe later. In the meantime, it's good to be geek enough to salvage something out of a crappy setup.
