- Putting the fork down in between bites, because I am not eating fast to forget I am eating.
- Exercising without feeling compulsion or guilt.
- Eating fruits and veggies because they are good for me, not because they are "safe foods".
- having energy!
- Looking in the mirror and saying "Fine."
- Having a bad day and still eating dinner; without restricting, bingeing or purging.

Great post!

thank you for posting this, its so wonderful and i needed to read it. one of my favorite things about recovery is being present with the people i love and not focusing on the food that we're eating. i think that being able to just overall enjoy life more and relationships and not being paranoid that they wouldnt love me if i weighed more and things like that are just huge. im so glad that you have conquered so much and im am so proud of us :)

going out for dinner with my family.
accepting my body at its natural and healthy weight.
being happy. plain and simple.

Those all sound awesome to me - I'm about to go into residential treatment (probably Renfrew in Florida) and I'm hopeful I'll be able to put all of the negativity that comes along with having eating disorder behind me. I'm so inspired by your recovery; you seem so healthy and happy! :)
