My weekend
The worst 3 hours ever. I was called in today to work for 3 hours, which usually ain't so bad. By 7 I was ready to run screaming. It was busy, and the co-workers weren't really clicking. I won't use names but she's been here longer than everyone else and likes to leave the newer people alone to work the cafe. Sure, it's all good and great to do the stock when it's NOT busy, but come on. On a sunday it's good to have alittle team effort. They both took longer on their breaks when they left, and I couldnt get the time to take a 15. The older made sure she was too busy to help us, and the younger did the same when she could to the other older worker. I felt kinda trapped between this crap, plus constantly in motion working or doing something. I did the bakecase before I left and that was it. I was pissed. As I was about to go a line formed, and I just left. I caught the older coworker giving me an 'eat shit' look before I left, but I don't give a damn B/c I had had the worst 3 hours at work in a long time. She leaves when things aren't done & we are busy all the damn time, I think I can let myself do it this once.
Perhaps I'm just in rant mode, but I need a new job.
Mike came this weekend and it felt so good to have him around. We went to Nafiuls wedding and it was so sweet! I'd never been to the Bay Minette Civic Center, but I'd have never of found it without Mapquest. It took us an hour to get there from my house. But the wedding was really nice and the food was great. I hate that we missed the ceremony, I thought we were only 10 minutes late. I suppose they were in a hurry to make it legal =) We got home in time for Megas XLR. Mike brought an anime called Duel which I really like so far. The idea of parallel universes just amazes me, and though Duel has similiarities to Tenchi it's been fun. And on the lovely-dovey side, I don't think I could be anymore inlove with Mike. How did I ever get along without him? I can't see the point being with anybody else. He makes me very happy.
