Does anybody know of cheap transportation from London to Paris? I mean, from first hand experience (there are plenty of advertisements that are BS). The best i've found is $99 via train ( Read more... )

its much cheaper(200-300 bucks less) to fly into london than paris, thats what i did this summer.

through STS you can get a eurostart train ticket for like 40 euro each way, i believe. 2.5 hours. czech it out.

in paris i stayed in la coulaincourt hostel in montmarte, right by the sacre cour. on coulaincourt ave, look it up through sts or hostelworld, etc.

with one friend, yes. very social awesome hostel with kitchen, amazing views, free internet, in room showers and sinks, eetc.

globetrotter's just outside of london isn't the most central, but it's the NICEST hostel i've ever stayed at, and it's just as cheap as anywhere else, plus right by the tube station.

. . .i don't know how social it is because i only stayed there one night and was purposely anti-social.
