I get a call from work.

Malorie is possibly right. Although I would be amused to know if there's a story that someone could offer about how it didn't end badly and we're all just narrow-minded, bigoted fools for thinking it.

Well it wouldn't end badly if she ran off but your love of her sorta ended when she stopped being a woman of the night.
