[OOC] First Strike thoughts!
- Okay, so the movie contradicts like. A WHOLE LOT OF STUFF IN THE GAMES and really game > movie. But I still liked the movie so Flynn and I will tweak it to our needs.
- For example, Flynn's raging father issues will be ignored. Flynn will talk more about this later.
- I won't lie, the idea of Yuri sneaking behind Flynn's back to join the knights is hilarious. I'm on the fence on whether he did sort of pull a con job on Flynn just to piss him off.
- I liked the relationship between Yuri and Nylen Fedrok. And it does explain Yuri having a blastia rather well.
- I ... might keep the bit where Yuri killed Repede's dad 8D;;;
- I also liked the twins. THEY CAN STAY.
- I....... don't agree with the end of the movie where Yuri killed Garista/Alistair/PeonyJade's lovechild. Mostly because Yuri's development in the game when he kills Ragou is ... really important and I feel that making him kill Garista really... took away the meaning of his actions in the game. I'm willing to go with GARISTA REALLY DID BLOW UP. That's what you get for messing with blastia :|
- Flynn and Yuri are married. Or the worst room-mates ever.
- I also enjoy the idea of Yuri ... being aware of some things and failing in other areas (AKA noticing gay and failing to notice BOOBS?)
- On the whole, the movie isn't... important at all, in terms of development anyway. It's just pretty.
