[ Tonks has adapted for this watery world. She's a mermaid complete with gleaming plum scales and luminous fins. Her hair is long and aubergine in color. The rest of her body has taken on a slight purple cast. ]This is completely unnecessary! You want to drown the city? Fine. You want to give us adaptions so we can survive! That's great! [And suddenly, Hitsugaya feels so much better knowing that Matsumoto isn't here.]

You could always put on a shirt.

A wet shirt... No, I don't think so.

It would cover you up more than that.

Have you ever seen what a wet shirt does against skin?

I have to agree with you. My bra doesn't even cover much. I guess that's why my hair is so long.

[ Oh, hello there Lily Potter. Tonks is just going to stare for a moment. ]

Yeah, there's nothing quite like strategically placed hair.

So, how did your talk with Remus go? Did that husband of mine feel you in on all of the details?

[ She knew he left! Tonks is just that brazen to ask. ]

{Lily stares back because...uh...purple mermaid. Pretty!}

Until it fans out behind me instead of doing its, erm, job.

He told me quite a bit! {She brightens. So this is Tonks.} I've been wanting to meet you since I heard!

I can see why shells never caught on in the undergarment department. I think I may have to resort to a sticking charm, not a permanent one mind you, just a regular one. Maybe then I could keep them from poking and prodding certain places.

Oh, what did he tell you? Don't leave me hanging, well, floating I should say.

[Juliet frowns slightly.]

Sea shells for - oh, goodness. Why do you not find a shirt and tie it up, like this?

[She swims back a bit, now that she's gotten the hang of swimming, to show that her upper torso is clad in a men's t-shirt, rolled and knotted tightly just below her breasts, so it won't ride up and expose them.]

It is not uncomfortable.

You're not worried about transparency?

I chose a darker colored shirt for that very reason. Am I mistaken?

[Now, she looks worried. She doesn't want to expose herself to the entire network.]

You're not worried about it clinging either?

If they are uncomfortable, why do you wear them?

I'm sorry to say, I don't normally go around with my breasts on display.

[ T-shirts and button-ups either cling or are too transparent. She has thought about that. Truly. Besides, it defeats the purpose and catharses of a rant to bring logic into it. ]

I think I'll ask my husband to bring me a scarf or something else to transfigure into a scarf. At least that I can wrap around myself a few times.

[ She can appreciate that Hawke is a very attractive man but a little too attractive for her personal tastes. ]

-=There was a slight shrug from him. To each their own.=-

As long as you have no discomfort.
