Powerless

We are still here basking in the aftermath of hurricane Rita!  It's Sunday and as of Friday night we have been without power for 2 weeks.  Thank God for the recent cool front.  We did actually see men from the power company working on our street yesterday afternoon so hopefully it won't be much longer.

My family stayed here and rode out the storm

We got our power back about an hour ago!!! I've gotten so used to being without it that it's almost too bright in here with the lights on!!! Ha
