Hey BBs! I need some help. I plan on doing a standard right of passage, I am going to get my first ever tattoo. Its going to be a butterfly on my leg, the thing I am asking for help with is that I have a low threshold for pain and I am not overly fond of needles. I had a tattoo on the side of my shin just a week ago, and honestly, I was distinctly nervous at the prospect but it really wasn't that bad. I'm not going to say it didn't hurt, but it was perfectly bearable

My list of instructions is just Aveeno lotion and some antibatrical soap, I don't know if I should put anti botic ointment on it

I didn't have anything special - just a gentle cream, not antibiotic - and mine has healed very nicely. Just follow the instructions the tattoo artist gave you, he/she's the expert!
