Hello all. I guess I should actually update.
I'll put it
So a couple of weekends ago I made my triumphant return to my glorious homeland of Buffalo, NY.
Friday was a very large, multiple-family dinner at Chef's. blah blah....Then I went out bowling with Dana and TJ! It was pretty sweet, minus the fact that they were sick, and I had a large quantity of wine at dinner making me rather sleepy.
On Saturday, my brother got married to a pretty swell girl.
We then partied down with our bad selves at Sean Patrick's.
I spent most of my time going between the tables and bar, talking and sipping and looking FAB-U-LOUS!
Sunday, after re-packing, I headed over to Telli May's house for the Bill's game. They lost to the JETS. HA.
Later that night, I headed to the airport. After an hour delay, I landed back in NYC at 12:45am. Stumbling up the stairs to the apartment at approximately 1:45am, the key broke off in the door. I spent the next 7 hours sleeping in a stuffy hallway waiting for the locksmith to arrive. I reentered the apartment around 9am, typed up a quick paper, and stumbled out the door to head out to Brooklyn for a fun-filled day of classes. When I got back from school that afternoon, my guinea pig and close friend of 5 years, Dali Lamma, was dead. Sucked balls.
To make matters worse, Tuesday I came down with the plauge, surely bestowed upon me by Dana.
This past Friday, after leaving my cell phone at school (which is closed until tomorrow due to Columbus Day) I went from good old Brooklyn College to John F. Kennedy International Airport to pick up a little brat by the name of Amanda, who stayed with me until about 6:30 this morning. This is her:
Goofy-looking, isn't she?!
We spent time just haning around in the park right by my apartment...maybe this looks familiar?
Anyhoo, it was fun, and good food was plentiful. We headed over to St.Mark's Place on Saturday, where I found the CUTEST purse, that I was going to buy for Dana, but then I wanted it for myself, and I felt guilty so I did not buy it, but I regret that decision, for it would have looked uber cute up against ME! Yesterday we hit up China Town, Little Italy, Christopher Street, and of course, my personal favorite, Shoe Alley!
6:30 this morning I took the brat back out to JFK via the subway. That was a riot. The airport was packed, and of course my dear girl did not want to be left alone to check her bag and go through security, so after another hour, I got to take an hour ride back home.
That's all I got, sorry it's the cliffnotes version but such is life. I have about 500 pictures from my weekend in Buffalo, so if there's anything you wish to see, let me know.
I will be making another glorious trip home in about 25 days to see my darling friends and maybe some family.
26 days from today I will be watching the Sabres getting owned by the LEAFS
