^ I agree 100% with her. I'm going to spread this link because her post, and everyone else's comments really touched me. I'm sorry to those who lost their rights..=( I wish I could have been old enough to vote this time..because I would have voted no on proposal 2...it just isn't fair.

It makes me incredibly sad how ignorant the 60% of Michigan who voted yes on proposal 2 are.
ugh. don't get me started.

Teenagers should get at least like half a vote or something. These things DO affect us, not just people 18 and over.

Yes I know..Teenagers are affected by everything they do...maybe not so much in somethings...but definitely in this. This pisses me off to no end.

I agree with you Kristina, and I think it's stupid they're going as far to change the constitution around. I say whatever floats your boat, I'm not going to go up to someone and say that's immoral or something. It's their choice, so let them do what they want. Freedom? I'm not so sure.

seriously that is so awesome. im glad you're spreading that around. that girl is not alone. there are millions of people who feel pain like her and her brother do. i heard on the news this morning that 11 out of the 50 states voted to ban gay marriage, and texas is re-writing their textbooks to say only a man and a woman can get married, and since a lot of schools around the country get books distributed through texas, that means their views are forced upon them too whether they like it or not.

i've argued about this with my family god knows how many times, and i've come to the conclusion that they're afraid of new things and dont want to accept something different, and people who pull the bible into this.. don't evne go there ARGHHHHHH

its the least i can do(pass it around). i havent really been into politics and everything..but now,..ive really thought about it. its not fair. they are people too! why cant he get that through his head. ugh. im so mad..seriously..teenagers at least should have some say in this! It would make a ton of people so much happier..-screams- people are seriously afraid of change/new things. WHY SHOULD THEY BE?! the least they can do it for the benefit of thousands of people!

ugh. im so disgusted.

thanks for everyones support. we should do a petition of sorts..but thats silly..thinking a 15 year old could change someone as high as the president's mind.

I agree with you...100% Kristina. I don't think it's fair to take away the rights of some people. Proposal 2 is practically saying that they're different and we have to restrict their rights. You're right...they're people too. Stupid proposal! CURSE BEING YOUNG!
