me and this girl at school were talking about how we think we should find a way to see brand new and dashboard in vegas.

amanda how long have you been obsessively going to out of town shows? someday soon you'll get over it. i've done it before. now i live in the best place for shows EVER, and my job never works me past 5pm, and I loook at all these shows and think "nah." for me it's partly money. probably cuz i'm super crazy with my money. but also because it's tiring. and I could only be happy being right up front and hanging out with all the guys in the band. and then i fell in love and i realized how unnecessary it all is. alas, i still go to shows sometimes just to see those old friends...just be careful. i know you've heard all this, sorry.

oh wait wait I forgot a very important reason why I don't like going to shows: I think it's unfair to watch a band play instead of me being onstage having other people watch ME play. haha i'm such a loser. I miss playing so so bad.
anyway, to each their own. honestly, if it makes you happy, go for it. but even if your job is shitty, it's still a job and you still need money. i used to not take days off of a work for a long time that way when a good show came around i knew i'd be ok asking for days off, haha

i still get that feeling sometimes, even though i wasn't in a 'real' band for very long and we only played like one show ever. it sucks =\.

yeah i know =\. and it's gotten to the point now where i really only do it to go hang out with people, or if i'm super into the band. it just sucks cause i'm always super into the bands haha. i know what you mean though.
