In January 2000, Florida, led by Governor Jeb Bush, removes 66,000 (thats right, sixty-six thousand) citizens from voting lists, claiming they are ineligible due to connected felonies. 8,000 of those voters come from a list supplied by Texas, formerly governed by George W. That is happening right here. And i wonder if michigan would have gone blue in this election had there not been so much harassment from voters in the urban areas of our state, i.e. Detroit, Flint, etcetera.

Oh yeah, i totally had a brain lapse.

But anyway, it was detroit i was hearing about all these people (minorities, specifically) getting totally harassed with their voter validation and i guess that just cancled out the fact that kerry won in my mind, haha.

And congress refused to listen to the blacks that filed claims that bush didn't count their votes. Not one member of congress.

Fox news had a lot to do with bush winning in 2000 too
