Hello, would you mind me adding you? You’re all the way on the other side of the world, and it would be nice to be friends with someone who doesn't live within ten miles from my house.
Fabulous -- yay!! I love getting to know people from different countries and different walks of life, and since I already kind of, erm, stalked your posts the other day, I know I'll enjoy reading yours on a regular basis :).
As a bit of an intro, I live with my sister in Queensland, Australia. I have family everywhere and I tend to talk a lot about them, especially my so-cute-it-kills niece and nephew. I'm at school doing a BA in Creative Writing and History, even though I finished high school ten years ago. I've been freelance writing since then but decided now is time to embark on some fresh education. I'm loving it!
I also talk a lot about books, about people I love, crazy life happenings, and my faith.
At one point in time, I wanted to take up a major in Creative Writing, but the debate resulted in having to choose between that and Art. Maybe one day I will go back to school for Creative Writing.
On another note, it's a nice to know that you talk about your faith. Actually, the thought is kind of encouraging, since I don’t have very many friends on LJ doing that. :)
That is the fabulous thing about school: one can always go back and do some more! :) Did you enjoy art once you had decided to pursue it? Art would be so much fun and a wonderful challenge.
Yay!! The feeling is mutual because I keep seeing several lovely people mention you in delirious terms, so I'd be delighted to be friends with you! Oh, and I do confess to silently lurking your journal on occasion. *blush*
