We're never going to agree on who's the better candidate or their policies, but you seriously thought calling him "John" was less respectful than the fact McCain would never look at Obama, and on several occasions let out a Gore Sigh?

I actually didn't notice. Kim and I were playing Blockus while the debate was on. So I was listening, but not really watching.

I totally agree about the disrespect that McCain showed by never looking at Obama. It was both pathetic and creepy.

But, I guess if you want another 4 years of someone who doesn't actually show respect for other people's thoughts and opinions, then McCain is your man!

And this is why I don't usually do political posts. Because somebody comes and posts drivel like that second sentence, no matter who it's aimed at.

For the debate, mccain probably came out 60% to obama's 40%, but overall he lost in the longer term for a few reasons ( ... )

Yeah, McCain reminding people how old he is doesn't help him at all. We'll see how the next debate goes. I have a feeling it's going to be something entirely different.

Neither of them really did anything for me in this debate. McCain may as well have said "I'm an old man," just to repeat the same thought a few moments later. Obama rambled and said nothing new.

I'm still going to find out who the American Communist candidate is and write them in.

I didn't watch it, because I've already made up my mind, and it's neither to be honest. You may say I'm throwing my vote away, but if I'm voting for a candidate I truly believe in and follow, how is that a throwaway?

That's not throwaway.
