I'm Sick of This

Oct 06, 2008 16:34

I just got dragged into stupid internet drama, the kind of stuff that I had thought I'd left behind when I left Fear the Boot.  Somebody, it seems, cannot let go.

Since what I'm responding to is public, the reply will be public.  It will also be short.

First, stop lying.

Second, stop blaming me and Adam for criticisms leveled at Fear the Boot.  We ( Read more... )

Just keep doing what your doing. Don't get pulled into the drama. Taking the high road will make the ones creating and fueling the drama fire look more like a douche. All the bs will get shifted through.

Or take over the world and win the internet.

Good advice, and usually what I stick by (or else you'd have seen a lot more posts like these). Just got tired of keeping quiet.

Not really. I was more a sweeping and patriotic condemnation of injustice as a whole.

Even if I did, that just means Obama would agree to meet with him without preconditions, right?

Har Har Har. ;)

Thanks for the intervention, Jake.

Yeah, I don't buy that at all. It's very clear in the original text exactly what he means. I mean, it's right there...the contradiction is blatant. Who does he expect to buy this back-peddling crap?

All the people that always buy his back-peddling? This certainly isn't the first time he's done it. I stick to my statement that I made in Adam's journal, I'm most offended by the "at odds" statement. Everything that has been adversarial in the relationship between the two podcasts has been one sided. Last I checked Chris was registered on our forms and welcome to post about FtB in the Pimphouse if he wants. The whiny claim of victimization just makes me want to spit.

The Internet: It's Serious Business

But in all seriousness:

Yeesh. On all fronts Yeesh.

Oh well, once again, I won't allow it to affect me, because I am all about listening to all shows. Therefore, everyone gets my support?

Because I am a podcast whore.

But yea, this situation sucks all around. Hopefully, it'll all get resolved.
Which as we all know

"The Internet: It's Serious Business"

Ain't that the truth.

I feel stupid even posting this...lowering myself to the level of replying to internet drama like some emo teen. But eventually you get a little tired of being used as a scapegoat and have to say something.

Trust me, it's a REAL BIG DEAL. *rolleyes*
