I don't like Holmescest, but this is so sweet and underlying that it isn't really noticeable. But... You have sparked an idea. Do you mind overly much if I toy with this idea of Sherlock regressing when panicked? It's a wonderful idea!
Thank you for this sweet story - there are only one or two tiny mistakes - one is here:
Under the bed was sherlock, curled down like he did twenty years ago, the first time someone had shouted "freak!" at him. Sherlock's a noun... So it'd need capitals!^^ (I'm pretty sure you know that, and I also know how caught up in writing one can get :))
Not really deep, but it won't do him any good to delay treatment any longer. 'wouldn't', if you want to be consistent with your time!
After he finished the emergency call, he turns (turned!) his attention fully on Sherlock. "It hurts!" sherlock (Sherlock) cried again.
Taken by surprise, Sherlock does (did) so.
"Mycroft?" sherlock (Sherlock) said timidly,
I hope you don't mind me pointing this stuff, but I only want to improve such a nice story!

English is my third language so I appreciate every advice on improving it^^ uh so many time-tenses inconsistency... I will double check next time I write another fic!
The English times are the worst thing EVER, I tell you... What are your first two languages? Mine is German, and English is my second, with Latin in third place! :D I'm always glad when I can help!^^
