well, i'm not sure whether i believe in ghosts or not, really. i had a really tragic upbringing (who hasn't), and all i grew up on was death, like seeing my father dead, for example. i've got a large fascination with the idea that they exist, but for the most part i can't say i've had enough experience to ttally believe in the preturnatural powers that be. however, this mill in particular, i've been to it 4 times now, and each time it was a little different, but every time i went i got the same feeling of foreboding. the first time i went was 3 months after the 1998 incident. that was the creepiest encounter i've had so far. the whole place smelled of death, and i envisioned some things according to the surroundings, like the slave house. i envisioned the execution of slaves in that house when i walked in, and i envisioned the bodies buried in the floor, and all this even before anyone told me about the story of the slaves. i don't know the url's of the sites i visited. i looked up on msn search the following: haunted mill ( ... )

yea, well you also gotta remember though that virginia is a fucked up state with a really fucked up history that dates all the way back to before this was even a country. virginia and massachusettes are supposed to be the 2 most haunted areas in america.
