Welcome back. I think you mean the lj spoiler tag, right? You can change the text the same way you would with an lj-cut. You can find more info on it here. It tells you how to change the text if you scroll down where it's talking about the lj spoiler. I hope that helps. ^^

thanks! and nope, i mean an lj-cut after it's been expanded.

i can change the initial lj-cut text, as there's an option to edit the "Read more..." link in the text box that pops up after you click the lj-cut button when updating your journal, but i'm uncertain of how to change (if it's even possible) the text of the "Collapse" link that appears after you've expanded an lj-cut.

Oh I see what you mean. I'm not sure if there is a way to change it. It only seems to happen when your viewing all your entries. When your looking at that actual post that doesn't show up.
