Seriously now. SERIOUSLY! WHY the fuck are we not getting these people out? Jesus christ! We've got god damn school buses here, we could be helping, every other city has buses, there are buses EVERYWHERE. WHY ARE WE NOT GETTING THESE PEOPLE INTO SAFE ENVIRONMENT

Not that I really think you're all this worried about this at this point in time, but I wanted to let you know that A)I made it out safely and then B)I had less than no reason to leave. There was no damage done to my area of town and my house, dad, grandfather, cat, and dog are all fine.

I appreciate the offer and I actually tried to call you to let you know I was safe, but I got an answering machine that didn't sound like your voice so I didn't leave a message. I think I called the number you left in my lj.

Anyway, thanks for the concern but I turned out ok.

Yeah...all the panic was pretty much for nothing....glad it avoided the area.

The phone number I gave you is our house number, that was James on the answering maching...I'm glad he doesn't sound like me.

I could have sworn that it was a woman on the machine. It sounded like a grandmother or something.

Maybe I dialed the number wrong. I probably called you when I had just made it to TN and was dead on my feet exhausted.

In any event, everything turned out ok.
