I've been thinking about it so much and I talked to some of my students about it this past sunday. There's 3 kids that don't have a father in their lives, there's another kid still who has significant self-esteem issues, and there is me who go through issues of loneliness. I wonder if God is enough. Like can he be enough to for the fatherless, the people who are having self-esteem issues, and the people who feel alone?

stage went very well though, more importantly, had a blast doing it.

I think Josh's answer hits it on the head, some days he doesn't FEEL like enough. It's not a problem on God's end, that's for certain, it's definitely us not being content enough to see that he's more than enough (not trying to quote the song, just making the point)....

I think that's definately it. Feeling that He may not be enough. "God is enough, but I'd also like this, this, and this." -Example: I believe God is able to totally take care of my finacial situation, but I would like finacial security for good measure.

Just so you know, I think The Stage is an awesome idea.
And just so you know, I like your journal, I found it through Jen (she's my apartment-mate) and I am also a youth leader. Yay us!

I created a community for youth leaders and so far, I am the only one there. If you want to visit it's ymexplosion.

Oh yeah, Henri Nouwen is the bomb.

thank you very much, I'm only a portion of the people that created the whole event but it is something we very much enjoy doing!

we are now friends.
