Here comes Dennis...Living in South Georgia during Hurricane season isn't particularly dangerous because by the time they make it this far inland the real winds have died down.  Last year, three of the big storms came directly over Valdosta when they were either still Hurricane or Tropical Storm force.  So we still get deluged, flooded, lose power
