I guess they didn't ask me when they wrote the Constitution, but I find it inappropriate for someone who isn't a member of the Supreme Court to assume the position of Chief Justice...while those that have been members for decades don't.

Yeah well then in this instance Scalia or Thomas would be Chief Justice. o_O

And I know you wouldn't want that.
