I want to thank whoever nominated me at the dhr_advent -- it's an honor, and I truly appreciate it! However, I had to decline in an attempt to be an adult with responsibilities. Good luck with the real life stuff as well as all your projects!

But all the same, I do feel conflicted about it ending. Happy for you because TF is incredible and such an accomplishment and sad to see the end as well. It's like trying to look both left and right at the same time... if that makes sense.
Good on you for turning down the request. As sucky as it can be sometimes, RL somehow always wins out.

I remember when I was writing this super long story for the dmhgficexchange, and I was on an extension deadline close to Christmas. So instead of properly buying a tree, I just got this shitty-in-a-box tree, and I feel guilty about it still. XD So, yes, it's always the smarter choice to meet the RL demands if you can't manage to balance both.
