This has nothing to do with your post, lol, but I didn't want to bother you by emailing you through your regular (yahoo) account. On your selling journal you have the "colored skulls" background on it...I have that as my myspace background and am trying to figure out how to put it on my lj for the background there...would you be oh so nice and let me know how the hell ya put backgrounds like that on there?!? lol. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! If ya help me I'll be forever in debt to ya! Thanks a bunch! And sorry for bothering ya!

lol hey! no problem...if you have a newer lj account (the one with the ads on it) you're gonna go to the journal option, then edit journal style, then go to the custom options tab. after that, click on the images tab. the first option should say "background image URL". in the box, put http://i6.tinypic.com/14msa5j.gif....that is for the background i have..if you have a dif one you wanna use...then put that one in. then just hit save changes. you can browse through out that to edit everything else as you go

Hey! Thank you MUCHO for the help with my LJ background! I suppose I have the newer version, because those directions worked for it, lol. THANKS!!! I really appreciate it! Also, how long have you been selling on LJ? Do you do pretty well on it? I will soon be selling my DIY creations and I've had quite a few pplz suggest selling here on LJ before ebay to build a customer base and all...so wish me good luck! ;) Thanks again! lol no problem! :) i haven't been selling on lj long at all. barely a month. lol i've done okay so far. lol i would definitely start here. there are tons of great people who are all really friendly and helpful. :) there is a girl who does diy clothing and does VERY well. her name on here is spicy toast i believe...so if you see posts from her in some communities she may be able to give you some advice, too because i know she does some DIY clothes that are BEAUTIFUL! :) if you need anymore help just LMK!!! and welcome to lj sales! :)

Hey again! lol. Thanks for the good luck wish. Good luck to you, with your selling, as well! I am friends with Sylvia- from _lipglossblack_ and she does well (diy clothing)..and of course Shrinkle does exceptionally well..so I'm hoping to build my customer base well on here and hopefully the selling goes well...I'm planning on putting some money up from each transaction for when my husband and I have a baby (2 yrs from now is the plan) that way I know my baby will have anything it would possibly need. So..hopefully it goes well..I'm crossing my fingers. I'm not the greatrest with advertising, though. Thats my main concern. If you don't advertise then no one will even know about your stuff...so...ya know..haha. Well again, thanks for your help and good luck with your selling!

what you should do is join as many buy-sell-trade communities as you can and post with a banner advertising pictures of your clothing with your shop name. and post twice a day (minimum) in every community you're in. and when people do buy, make sure they leave feedback. that's important. :) lmk when you get stuff up!!! i would love to see it! :) and congrats on planning a family!!! :) that's awesome! lol (p.s. juicy couture makes adorable diaper bags.) lmao
