My heart goes out to all those who lost family members at Sago Mines in West Virginia. Especially given that they were told initially that all but 1 had survived the explosion and subsequent entrapment... only to be told hours later that actually, all but 1 hadn't survived. Well, I was going to write a big journal entry... but there's a gigantic thunderstorm going on outside. I think it would be a great idea to go ahead and turn off the computer now, lol.

I woke up this morning to a phone call from a dear friend that I haven't seen in two years. Eli came in from Baltimore for the holidays on Thursday and was at Sonic at 9:30... so I jumped out of bed, threw on some clothes, and met him there.
