I think i would love that city.

a friend of mine compared it to ny in someways, not sure if you'd agree but either way, nice pics! I hope i get to visit there someday too.

thank you!

i'm not sure about NY since i haven't been there since i was 10 but i could probably see why since they're both metropolis cities.

Funny, my first thought looking at the photos was, "Oh, looks like New York, but cleaner." I haven't been to Tokyo (yet) so I wouldn't actually know if they're similar.

I've never been to Tokyo - only Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto
but the spirit of those pictures is very similar

makes me miss those 3 months that I spent in Japan..

thank you for them

yo girl - you've got me excited. I'm going to TKY in 2 weeks for the first time and these pics are just whetting my appetite! =)

How was the asakusa shrine - worth going? I was thinking of spending some time in Kyoto instead - what say you?

i've never been to kyoto, so i can't compare tokyo with it...

as for the asakusa shrine, i really liked it even though it's pretty tourisey. i've visited ALOT of temples throughout my entire trip (some in china, some in macau, some in hong kong), and i have to say this one was one of the better ones - it seemed more upbeat and for a lack of better saying, not too "old feeling" since there were alot of young locals and ppl walking their dogs around as well.

i used a sony dsc-t1, it's so thin and light; convenient to bring wherever i go so it's always with me, good for all-around sorta use, defintiely not pro.

and thankyou!
