Is it cheating if your significant other does not have physical relations with anyone else, but falls in love with someone else?

Yes or no?

Yes. It leeches the affection and intimacy out of the relationship in favor of someone else. How's that *not* cheating?

I would say so. It's one reason Boi and I are on break, because he felt like he may be in love with someone else (Someone he hasnt seen in years, oddly) and didn't feel it was right to stay with me while he sorted his feelings out.

As hard as it is to forgive someone who physically cheats on you, I think it's harder to deal with someone who emotionally cheats on you. I used to believe you can love multiple people the same, but I've learned that you can love more then one person, but the love you give a second person takes away from the love you had for the first person.

I wish you luck hun *hugs*

I'd say no.
Sadly you can't help having feelings... but they didn't act on it so thats good.
