Coming in very late, and sadly, not involved in any of those fandoms, so I'm afraid I can't be of much help to you there.

However, I am so much on board with your list of narrative loves (and hates, for that matter) that I felt I had to comment. Actually, thinking it over, I've realized that the original fic storyline I'm working on now incorporates all of your narrative loves listed here at some point (assuming I'm interpreting "baby idealist" correctly). It's a shame we live so far away, as I'd enjoy getting your input on the story as it develops - and I like to think it'd be fun for you, as well.
