O.o *is slightly impressed* Any you'd recommend? Yeah too bad your fav series is not mentioned here...that guy whose killer move is to unzip his pants.
The thing is, a lot of those anime are really old ones that I watched when I was younger, and you might find them kinda lame/poor quality if you watch it now. Nonetheless, I'd recommend these ones:
- Lupin III - Scrapped Princess - Slam Dunk - Yu Yu Hakusho <--Only the first two seasons, but this one may be too old school for you.
It's interesting to look at the break-down by genre (though some of the choices are fairly arbitrary). For example, how Action/Adventure is in the lead, followed closely by Comedy/Parody, Fantasy/Supernatural, and Kids/Family. Would you say this reflects the level of enjoyment you get from each genre, or are you simply more willing to give those kinds of series a shot? Or are those the ones that are easiest for you to watch mindlessly?
That aside, YOU MANAGED TO WATCH GRAVITATION ALL THE WAY THROUGH??
Hm, I dunno. I think a lot of those choices were influenced by my brother (i.e. I was watching Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho, Initial D, and Lupin III because he was watching them), but I certainly do enjoy action/adventure, comedy/parody, fantasy/supernatural anime more than--say, drama and surreal/psychological. I actually don't like too much thinking when I'm watching things for entertainment. XD;

OH YES I DID. AND I MADE HANNAH WATCH IT TOO, JUST SO SHE COULD SUFFER WITH ME. But srsly, I couldn't hate it more than Loveless. URGH.
It should be noted that evey watched ME WATCH GRAVATATION... * shudders
i think that was my first introduction to yaoi.. and that my dear sweet friend said to proceed it was:
Evey: Just imagine the pink haired character as a girl.. Me: Wha??? Evey: u'll see... *sinister chuckle and gleam Me: But how the..isn't he a.. Evey: Just keep watching... * stares at me crying... *
'Cause Hannah was incredibly naive and optimistic about anime, and could not fathom any guy-on-guy action on screen. Seriously, if I didn't tell her to imagine Shuichi as a girl, she'd never figure out that--you know, he's gay (YES HARD TO BELIEVE ANYONE WON'T GET IT BUT IT'S TRUE).

Only, how could imagining that thing as a girl make it worse? How could ANYTHING make it worse?
