Moonstruck

This is the way the moon looked tonight here. I know they're not that brilliant, but I wanted to share it. I didn't alter the pictures, just changed the size. The colors, the light... it really looked that way. Kind of a gothic atmosphere...:)

Ah, the moon, it's so gorgeous! I think my most favorite from those are the two where you can see, uhm, I don't really know, a tree (?) which is covering the moon a bit.

Kind of a gothic atmosphere...:)

*nods* Yes, it creates a wonderful atmosphere. Thanks for sharing.

It looks so cool! Very gothic indeed. ;)

(And it seemed like a good reason to use my "Happy Halloween" icon! lol)

Nice. I love the moon. I usually have a great view of it from my balcony.

Thanks.:) I had to go to the park nearby to take the pictures, otherwise it wouldn't have been dark enough. I wish I had a great view from my window, but I can only see another house.:)

THIS IS A FIRE RAINBOW - ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL NATURALLY
OCCURRING ATMOSPHERIC PHENOMENA. THE PICTURE WAS CAPTURED ON THE IDAHO/WASHINGTON BORDER, AND THE EVENT WAS REPORTED TO HAVE LASTED ABOUT 1 HOUR. CLOUDS HAVE TO BE CIRRUS, AT LEAST 20K FEET IN THE AIR, WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF ICE CRYSTALS AND THE SUN HAS TO HIT THE CLOUDS AT PRECISELY AN ANGLE OF 58 DEGREES.
