I watched Oscars because there was Supernatural on Slovak TV at 2 am (!!!!!!) so I stayed awake and watched a bit.
I liked how natural Tilda looked...I mean she had no make-up (well maybe just the foundation), no jewellery (apart from her wedding ring) and the black dress. Everyone else was struggling with huuuuge robes (Heidi Klum was like a big ladybug) but Tilda was just rocking naturality. Awesome and so unusual for Oscars.
I liked how natural Tilda looked...I mean she had no make-up Yeah. I can't really remember Tilda wearing make-up, except for movies and photoshoots. And she never needs it, she just...glows, all by herself. She's amazing.
(Heidi Klum was like a big ladybug) LOL! Really? Maybe I should have watched it.:))
Geez, THANK YOU. I totally agree. I thought that she was so out of place there because they haven't recognized her previous brilliant work before. What made this seemingly "normal" performance better than the rest? I love the woman and still feel like she should've been recognized for previous roles rather than this one. It seems so ... non-Tilda. Ha.
What made this seemingly "normal" performance better than the rest? No clue...I'm quite sure they never even considered to nominate her for her other work, even if the roles are more interesting - or maybe because. The Academy is hardly ever ... daring.
I haven't watched the Oscars since 1997, but I saw the headline on Yahoo that Tilda had won and I instantly thought of you. : ) A huge congratulations to your girl. *huge, huge hugs & much, much love to her* : D ♥
I haven't watched the Oscars since 1997, I don't think you missed anything. :) I hardly ever feel I did.
but I saw the headline on Yahoo that Tilda had won and I instantly thought of you. : ) lol I feel kind of flattered.:) Yeah... Tilda is the one I am fangirl squeeing about.:D She's intense, and different.
THANK YOU so much for taking the time to look at it!! *HUGS* I spent days working on it and it seemed that nobody cared.:/ So, I'm glad you like it! Thanks.:)
You're most welcome hun, anytime. ; ) I haven't seen the film yet (I hope I will one day soon though *fingers crossed*), but I truly love the layout for your fanlisting. : ) ♥
I think it's an amazing film. Clearly, it's not everyone's thing. But the pictures are breathtaking and the cast is absolutely brilliant. I found the characters very interesting as well. It's intense. And I love it, obviously.:)
