I really enjoyed the Brian/Ted friendship, especially how comfortable they were with each other in season 4 and 5. Even though Brian tended to pick at Ted, he was also the one, who helped him when he was in need and vice versa. <3

Yeah, I think it was wonderful. Brian always supported Ted when he really needed it, even though Brian wasn't particularly nice about it. And Ted has become a very loyal friend.
