Definate, consistant words that the dude says:  "dada" for daddy; "daw" for dog (all dogs, including Evie); "googa" for cookie (occasionally also used for other foods that are very yummy to him, but always his word for cookie, whether his own or Evie's); "dow" for down; "eeh" for up; "gah" for car; "dee" for done; and "hi" for both hi and highchair

that's so great.
I'm a big fan of baby signs, I think they are very helpful
(my undergrad was child development, and I worked with ~9-16 mo old infants for a year and had to use signs...some of them that got it at home and used it a lot could let us know when they needed diaper changes, etc...)
