I'm supposed to start cutting back on my coffee starting today.  Does that mean that I should cut out the third large mug that I only sometimes have?  Or I should actually start cutting out one of the two large mugs that I always have?  (Each mug equals half a pot of coffee.)

I like being able to say I drink only two or three cups of coffee a day (a cup being a container that you drink out of, not eight ounces, of course). But my doctor how many ounces I drink a day, and then she was a bit horrified by my answer.

have the same number of cups so your habits don't have to change, but use smaller cups.

That is a really good idea. I had my usual mug this morning, and now I'm dying thinking I should try not to have coffee this afternoon. Maybe I'll use one of those coffee *cup* things I got for my wedding and have a teensy taste.

Baby steps: start by making sure you only have two.

And by the way: Wow, that's a lot of coffee *clutches enormous tea mug*
