to answer your question, every ... single ... day ... I agree with your statement to a point and I think every relationship made in life has those same characteristics. Family, friends, lovers, teachers, donors... the random person you meet on the street and say hi too or hold a door for... a connection is made that may be forgotten but is a part of who you are... hopefully the life that comes back is wiser, stronger and full of happy memories then the life originally put in.. or tis truly a waste. better to love once then to have never loved at all?
