Well, the last couple of days haven't been that exciting. After a long fight with JUSD, I finally got Jacob into school. With how shy he has been since returning home I was worried he wouldn't take to first grade very well, but after dropping him off today and seeing him run into the gates with his new classmates my fears washed away. The holidays are definately pretty sad at times. I feel you on the lose. I lost my mother when I was 18 Dec 30, 1999 and I lost my grandfather last year. So the holidays leave lots to be desired. A wise friend of mine once said to me, "I know that you want to be home for christmas even though you say you don't. But at this point your still trying to find home and your suppose to be trying to find home." I'm sorry for your lose and I definately understand what it means to soul search.
