My TV died.

I just finished playing some Street Fighter and when I hit the "input" button it made a weird popping sound. No there's no picture whatsoever. It's got sound but no picture. I had an emotional connection to that TV. I feel like a dearly beloved pet just died

My brother thinks that it's only a problem with the input circuit solder. He saw something like it in many TVs at Atari. He's gonna bring over a soldering iron and do some doctor work on the TV.
