A question Re: Leverage episode 2x01
was it just me, or was this episode a little bit over-the-top in hokeyness? I thought it was awesome, and I suspect that some of it was meant to be amusing, but really? There are wolves in the world? I watched this episode with the boyfriend, who's seen maybe one or two other episodes, and he was a bit incredulous about how hokey it was--especially all the scenes with the little girl. He also thought the part where the car flew over Nate was ridiculous.
I still enjoyed it, and I thought all of the character moments were awesome, but am I alone in thinking that if this had been the first episode I'd ever seen I might have given up on it because of excessive cheese?
