Circles.
All of a sudden Atlas's stay here is up and Ezra's coming home. This time in tan.
It's an idea I've been mulling over in the back of my mind for a while now. Wasn't sure if I'd really go for it if the opportunity came up or if it was all idle musing. Suddenly he's on the MP and I jump. Need to get a sales thread together for Atlas, no idea what to list him for. Need to sell him quick though, kinda borrowing the money from the awesome bf.
Atlas was the only full SD size doll to survive the upheaval of my collection on the basis of his unexplored potential. Two years later and he's still mostly "potential". He probably spent at least half that time in pieces or boxed. Lots of ideas but nothing ever carried out. My attempts at sewing/crafting for him were more frustrating than anything else. He mostly stands around in his one outfit being, solid. My great big lug.
But Ezra... Ezra was always my boy. Ezra and Ira are still the only dolls who have inspired stories and characters in me. The little ones have a very loose little world. Prue barely has a name. Indy, Kyrie, Atlas, all tried but never quite found a place other than "being pretty". And they were that. :)
It's funny. I had that tan Ryu head back in the day. Sold it to save Indy when I needed to buy my car. Sold Indy to bring home Atlas. And now Atlas is leaving to bring back a tan Ryu. Circles man, circles.
So yeah, Ezra! Exciting. And yes, this also means eventually Ira. His head has been waiting patiently in a box all this time. He'll probably have to keep waiting for a while yet but that's okay. Still happy with the little ones. The unexpected Prue will probably be my outlet for the just "being pretty" side of the hobby. Hell, I may even try a couple again if I can find a Mini boy I like. Or just a bunch of girlfriends. :P
