Donations for Ely

I've set up a PayPal account for those who wish to contribute towards some sort of gift/token of our love for sisterpandora / musicforcylons. There are several ideas being floated about: sending the traditional flowers, making a donation in her name to a charity, etc. If anyone has any thoughts/ideas on what specifically we should do, please let me know

I've been going through both of her friend's lists today, seeing everyone's posts, and I was struck by how many lives she touched. She was always so secretive and compartmentalized about her friends, not out of anything bad but out of respect for each friend. I wish we all knew of each other prior to this. &hearts

Also, just a thought. When my friend Kelly passed away in January, we set up a memorial community where her friends could share info/memories/etc. Might be something to do here.

I didn't know Ely, so I'm really not in a position to make suggestions, but ... depending on how much money is raised, maybe some of it could go into buying a potted plant to send to her parents? That way, they would have something to "live on", in her memory. I confess I'm not big on spending TOO much on flowers for this sort of event, even though I love flowers, just because they don't last too long. If you know of some cause that was really important to her, I suspect that might be more meaningful.
