Long time no post

So... It seems to have taken me longer than I expected to get back into the flow of "home" after being, well, back home for Christmas. The trip was excellent, if maybe a tad long to keep a grown man around his in-laws. Everyone got along well, but remember the adage about fish and houseguests after three days? We were there for 11 days. 'Nuff ( Read more... )

I don't even know what a sump pump is but it all sounds bad. And I am concerned for the "remote location." My house isn't considered a remote location, is it?

This weekend I told Eva about how I would annoy you with the songs that would get stuck in my head. Most notably the Monty Python: "Here Comes Aaaaannnnnother One...here it comes aaaagainnnn...

Sump pump... A very Homer word, no?

"Marge, my foot is stuck in the sump pump again."

"Hhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm."

To be honest I am not entirely sure how to explain what it is... But Wikipedia does! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sump_pump

Anyhoo, I am trying to remember that song you refer to, and all I can do is think, "I like traffic lights, I like traffic lights, I like traffic lights, but not when they are red." And then it cuts into a medely of Jenna's rendition of "Who's Gonna Ride your Wild Horses (HORSES)." Help me out here, I need to remember the one you're talking about.

Ooh, dinner! Gotta go.

I think it's Eric Idle singing. His voice is kinda nasal. And there isn't any music. Just him with his voice going up a note for each word- and louder as he sings each line:
Herrrrre commmmes annnnother one
Herrre it comes againnnnnn
Herrrrre commmes annnnother one
When will it ever ennnnd
