Contentment in the moment

I know, two journal entries in one morning are unheard of for me.  But on a more personal and less flippant note than usual, I wanted to note how good things have been lately, now that the holidays are over.

I woke up this morning and spent time with two of my favorite people in the world and, really, very little in life makes me feel luckier.

I'm happy everything is going well for you. I will admit I first read "My belly is full of food" as "My belly is full of blood". And I thought to myself, well if it makes her happy to be guzzling blood, so be it.
