This is something I've ranted out to several friends in the past but it irritates me so greatly I'm gonna have another rant. It was all triggered by seeing yet another perpetrator on the way into work this afternoon ( Read more... )

About a year ago, I was sitting in my car at a red light, and two guys were on the side of the road- one walking, one on his bike, doing exactly what you were complaining about. The guy walking started to slow down, to look both ways before crossing the street; consequently, the guy on the bike had to slow down. Right before they began to cross the street, the guy on the bike, because he was going so slowly, fell over. He must have been an idiot, because he didn't even put his foot out to stop himself. He just leaned to one side, and *plop*! He laid on the ground, with his bike on top of him, for a good 40 seconds. I laughed so hard, I cried.

I made your CD's last night so I'll send them either today or tomorrow depending on how desperate I am to snooze when I finish work this afternoon. I did just put random songs on it but it's not come out quite as weird as I hoped. I tweaked the tracklisting around a little so it flowed better but other than that it's all donr through clicking shuffle. I hopes you likes

I'm sure I will like it! Hopefully you don't completely hate the one I sent. I put about 24 songs on it, but I'm not sure if they are the type of music you'd be into. :)

I'd not made CD's using iTUnes before and was amazed at how quickly they burnt. I;m used to it being 11 minutes at least but these chappies were being popped out at 2 minutes a go. I was well pleased. I did 8 CD's in half an hour, they aren't all for you so don't worrry. One thing I have noticed though is that, while sound check/equalisation is a good thing on the whole, it equals it out to the level of the quietest songds rather than the loudest. So, when you play these they need to be turned right fucking up and not just because of any metal cliches. Some stuff what is on it: Camper Van Beethoven, The Vandals, Clutch, Johnny Cash, Rammstein, The Pharcyde, Therapy? LCD Soundsystem, Suicidal Tendencies and a load more. There's not actually anything that heavy on it, I think Finntroll are the most extreme thing on there, but thats just the way it came out doing it on ramdom I suppose ( ... )

Yeah I update a fair bit, not as much as I used to cos I only really get online at work, our shifts changed from 8hr to 12hr so now I don't get in as much.

You've worked out it's been friends only now though and I added you back.

I always used to listen to the cds I got but slowly over the last few months I stopped listening to CDs altogether. Now I just buy them, stick them on ipod and listen to them if they pop up on shuffle usually.
Mixes I get from swaps like this, I just upload the songs I don't have leavign off the ones I dso and the ones I don't want. I guess I should listen to them the old fashioned way too, I put a lot of effort into track order to make sure a mix flows right,Other people probably do too.

Oh and I downloaded the Mary stuff cheers but I can't unzip it cos its a rar thingy? Sad.

ok. most important thing first. winrar is better than winzip. it will unzip other compression formats also (such as winzip). and you can still find it free. you can find it in plenty of places online, and one of those is to download it here: http://rapidshare.com/files/74338775/winrar_crystal_2008.rar
