It's enjoyable to actually be able to read what I want to again. Been slogging through the extended edition of Stephen King's The Stand, a veritable marathon of a book at 1153 pages long, and I've still got another 200 or so to go. Fantastic book that is. Oh, the freedom that is no braces! One sucky thing though is that you'll have to readjust your embochure and that might take up to about a week. When I started playing saxophone I already had braces, and when I had them removed my lessons teacher had a fit because it turned out she had let me go two years with a horrible embochure that was just bad, and not due to braces like she thought. So my embochure has never been great, but I managed just fine. So will you.

Congrats on the jamboree win. My husband's school (Holtville) won theirs too and the band (which he's the director of, hehe) apparently didn't suck too bad.

And I envy you on the computerzorz. My wishlist of upgrades is a mile long, but unfortunately very low on the financial priority list. :(
