Purpose 1: circumvent the ability of the collars to work for herself.
- Possibility of loosening the collar based more on emotion than partnered sexual gratification (not likely to succeed).
- Possibility of using the collar feed to tap into the resources into minor/major spells. (currently not possible).
Purpose 2: use accumulated power to assist in the design of instruments of power and war?
- Grafting runics and whatnot to get instruments (tanks, bikes, etc) to move. Refill with mana.
- Amulets of minor/major protection (Currently possible).
- Daggers with minor/major affects. In short, actual attribute/crafted weapons (Not possible at this point in time).
Purpose 3: finding a way to unlock and regain her natural power
- Indefinitely impossible.
The spell listing on this level should consist of temporary (limit of up to two hours) effects, casted from the body, and targeted to a body. The majority effect would be a one-liner spell, dipping into a bit of mana (outside energy) to directly effect the prana (bodily energies) of the target, provoking the spell's desired effect. Remedied with Atia's influence, a strong will, or a stronger spell counter.
Paralysis - Stun/bodily numbness--target is rendered with Don't Move, Don't Act. (Lv 2 enhancement lasts the duration of up to a day)
Nerve/Senses spell - Target's sensitivity is increased exponentially. At this level, they'd be particularly sensitive to touch. (Lv 2 enhancement offers enhancement for one of the other senses: taste, sight, sound, smell. Can result in a sensitivity a little above canine or aviary perception.)
Poison - Gradual reduction to a target's health through liquid or physical contact. At this level, a decrease in motor function, feelings of flu/illness, and fatigue. Death is only possible through consistent casting, which is currently not possible. (Lv 2 enhancement grants levels of severe fatigue, stomach pains, and heavy motor disorientation, regardless of personal mass and immunity system.)
Enhance - Increases natural abilities by using the bodies' prana to reinforce cell reproduction and system health to create a superhuman effect. At this level, target will be able to produce twice the amount of output they are typically capable of in terms of strength, speed, stamina, dexterity, reflexes, etc. (Lv 2 enhancement furthers this still, to a point of being able to withstand considerate physical damage, running/punching/kicking/etc at levels with something that could be classified as demonic strength--just short of being able to withstand/deal out a tonne of Newton force. The drawback is the shorter amount of time, one hour, as well as the feeling of heavy fatigue as the body's prana source is taxed.)
The spell listing of this level opens the possibility of directly offensive spells, defensive spells, and spells that target the environment, or one's perception of the environment. As this is a higher level of spells, a higher time of preparation must be allowed for on-the-spot casting. Duration effects for these spells can last to a day, at most. Further, any charms, talisman, and amulets can be used to enforce the spells instantly, but will require refilling in the same manner as the collars are loosened--partnered sexual gratification. Countered with Atia's influence or a higher level of spell casting.
Regenerate - Very low-level healing/defensive. Targets one to three persons, utilizing prana in the body to rebuild/replace damaged cells. Not incredibly effective against mortal wounds, disease, sickness, or poisons of a higher level (most lethal, or high concentration toxins).
Ward - Single target incantation, raises the body's natural immunity to poisons, chemicals, or physical impurities of a poison/chemical type with intent to hinder or impair natural thought and/or motor functions.
Enflame - Ranged elemental spell, destructive. Fire elemental. Mana in the air is used to generate high levels of heat--then ignited, creating a two foot diameter fireball. User then mentally directs the fireball into the target. No physical force behind the spell at this level, but the speed matches that of a released arrow. Burn effect up to second degree burns. A still fireball can be maintained at minimum of 1 minute--greater, depending on the mental/magic capacity of the caster. At amulet/medium storage, instant-casting is gained at the cost of capacity: only one spell of this type (Offensive) can be tucked into any Lv 2 medium.
Freeze - (Ranged elemental spell, incapacitating. Ice elemental. Mana in the air is used to drop the temperature in a space up to a three foot diameter. Any targets in that area are introduced to extreme levels of cold, and may be possibly given a frost/poison status, disrupting their motor functions for the duration of the spell. Duration depends on the caster's mental/magic capacity (minimum of 1 minute). Spell has to be maintained by caster, or it WILL peter out after 1 minute. At amulet/medium storage, instant-casting is granted in exchange for capacity: only one spell of this type (Offensive) can be tucked into any Lv 2 medium.
Medium - Capacity/container for spells. For exchange of not casting the spell (typically a two to four line effort), the spell is allowed to be stored until mentally summoned by the caster at no great prana cost. Any container (crystal, bracelet, etc), may be used to store a spell. Capacity at this level is one spell per container. Someone with understanding of the spell, however, must initially carve the spell into the medium. The user, from that point, is responsible for refilling the spell by keeping the medium on them while they have sex.)
Medium Custom - Personal variation for Potamos. By specializing a level one spell, Potamos scribes the magic into a tube of lipstick. Anyone touched with the lipstick will be subject to the spell--in this case, a Paralysis Lv 1 spell. As the spell is literally prana to prana, there is no chance of backfire or self-paralysis. The effectiveness is the same, duration of one hour. The spell will needed to be recharged, the same way as any other medium container. Lipstick will still physically run out. Cost of scribing is two spell castings.
This spell range contains enhanced forms of the previous two levels, ultimately doubling the effectiveness, range, and duration of the spells. However, the casting time is increased, and it will require moderate to high ability to be able to cast at this level. Currently, that trait does not exist among the captives on Atia's Island. Further, no spells have been discovered at this level to date.
Self-casting
Casting should keep the following in mind:
- Atia's mana is the energy source of all spells, including prana-induced spells. So there is always a huge possibility that the goddess can disrupt or cancel a spell's effect, even to a point of reversing whatever physical damage resulted from the spell.
- Casting capacity, due to the mana needed being tainted, is not as high as it would be for natural casters. The spell limit before the price kicks in is four, on average.
- The price, of course, is sex. Going further than four castings in a 24 hour period risks aggravating the caster's arousal level, to a point where motor function is impeded. By six castings, the caster will be looking desperately for sexual gratification (Think the water curse). This is Atia's direct influence.
- Having a gift or affinity for energy manipulation goes a long way to determining any extra capacity a person may have. Intellect determines being able to pick up, understand, and actually cast spells. The average person on their own won't be able to cast, so using Atia as a medium is possible.
Medium Casting
- Unlike actual casting, mediums involved pre-made spells with an established limit and duration. Very little casting cost is considered for mediums (limit of 12 - whatever mod-approved number could be considered).
- No previous magic experience is required for mediums. The average person can chant the keyword necessary to activate the spell.
- The prana cost is considerably low. That's the advantage of a pre-made spell.
- The disadvantage is two spells at most can be stored into any Lv 2 medium--one, if the spell is offensive in nature (defined as direct, permanent physical damage. Two of these spells exist at current time).
- Jewels are superior mediums. The more refined the jewel, the greater possible capacity for spells.
- The key password would usually be, keeping the focused target in mind, shouting the spell's name and the word invocre (For instance, "Enflame, invorce!").
Sidenotes:
- Potamos' magic capacity in her canon is HUGE. But most of that magic is direct will manipulation, no casting or structured releases. For that reason, she's actually very, very novice at spell structure and casting, save for two spells from her home (summoning, and opening a portal to the demon world--both spells she has a superior, instant version to).
- The listing is Potamos' own discovery of spells. They're sitting in a bundle of notations in her room. Any spells your charas discover own their own should be run through the mods, first, as this is a game-approved list.
- Granting that, Potamos cannot technically teach anyone how to cast--they'd have to be able to understand the basic casting concepts and magic concepts all their own. She's more than willing to work with an interested party, however.
- It's likely that any default plan for anyone without some sort of magic/energy-manipulating gift would be to submit, or attempt to (or even hold the parody of) swearing to Atia*
- Magic is a mod-granted luxury, and what can be given, canneth be taken away. Keep that in mind and be responsible so everyone can enjoy it, please. :)

Questions on powers of a different type!
- Is there a way, other than potions, to gain abnormal ability?
- If so, what would be the preferred limit of those abilities?
- Would they have to become a devout follower of Atia to do so?
- If they don't intend to surrender to Atia and try for power anyway, would something specific happen in backlash, or is it up to player discretion?
Mods
- Yes. Possibly via ‘favours’ bestowed on individuals by the goddess. She has a strange sense of humour; it would not be unheard of for her to randomly grant someone a specific ability if she thought it might prove entertaining.
- Definitely. Each ability would have its own limits and possible risks/price tags.
- No.
- Backlash is a guarantee. Atia will be watching and as such the punishment will benefit the ‘crime.’ Most likely working out the backlash is something the player will have to do with a mod.
