Okay there is too much Credence on here!black_raven135March 26 2011, 00:43:57 UTC
STOP!!!!!!!!!!! There will NEVER be too much Creedence Clearwater Revival anymore than there will be too much Eagles......... When I was at an air station we had a band come to perform Friday nights in the junior officers' lounge and they played Creedence like it was the last call. I ABSOLUTELY loved it........and still do. I still think one of greatest scene in film was when the main character, 'Frank' is heading out to work in INDIAN RUNNER. Frank is a welder......wearing boots, levis, white tee, shades, and a hard hat and he ambles toward his job site, a bridge, we hear in the background: GREEN RIVER

I take it back; you're right there can never be too much Creedence - it just seemed weird to me that my random songs had so much CCR - where was Journey? James Taylor? The Stones? The . . . you get the idea right? I was just a little confuzzled. LOL

The Stones did she say???????????????????? ***JUMPS UP AND DOWN**** True story to follow: One time mom and I had lunch at a favorite Chinese restaurant, Top Hat, which has been a landmark in SW Portland forever. They were playing KISS FM while we ate and then the Stones came on. Mom stopped eating and she said to me, serious face, "I always loved them" I said "Who?" Then she picked up her fork and said before taking the next bite, "The Rolling Stones" We are talking about an EIGHTY year old woman.......... I said "Oh yeah, what was your favorite?" Without skipping a beat she replied: "SATISFACTION"
I almost died. My sister refuses to believe it to this day. I don't care because I was there and heard her with my own ears. After she said Satisfaction she was looking at me and I guess my expression betrayed me and she said: "What??" which made me laugh even harder.
First of all (Yes, I am finally all caught up on the flist), your icon made me smile. I am missing SOA, too.
Some of these made me lol like The Police but Ordinary World by Duran Duran is suuuch a haunting song and it made me think of all your C/B fic and omg, niiice! FYI, there are a lot of songs that I would put on my personal soundtrack that didn't make it to my list but this stupid meme made me think my ipod is like those old Magic 8 Balls. Ask a question, shake it to shuffle, and hit play. I'm going to start asking it fic questions when I get stuck plotting and scheming.
