Just spent Christmas vacation with my family and my fiancee. She was in pain for a couple of months, but felt enough better to go with me on a five day family bonanza. I'd say it went well, which is good all around.
Now to finish cleaning the apartment, getting a professorship, publishing some papers, getting some experimental work done...
