Happy 92nd Birthday, Mom!

Today is her birthday. In about an hour and a half, I'll be driving over to get her for breakfast as that's what Brother and Sis KS want to do. Yesterday though, we had a big party for her at a local "family bar/restaurant" that serves pizzas and sammies and salads; I came home with most of my salad and pizza despite being hungry. Happy belated Birthday to you, luv! Sounds like you had a good time.

What am I planting? I'm trying to get my Butterfly (and Bee) Garden started. With my disability, I have to rely on help from my hubby, and he needs to be poked and prodded all the way. (First step is to weed wack the back yard, but he keeps claiming it's too wet out there -- and it isn't. Maybe he hopes if he waits long enough, it'll rain again.)

Besides milkweed, there'll be all kinds of wildflowers. If I can ever get started...

Me, too. Though it seems Jaguar might get his wish to not weed wack without further delay. It's not supposed to rain today, but they're calling for it anyway. Frustrating.

At least it isn't going to freeze here tonight. I was trying to figure out how to get all the plants under cover or in the house and was coming up empty.

There's been a lot of rain here in the past several months (waaay more than usual), so I feel like some of my plants are a little behind (bought on my b-day in Feb), but they'll catch up eventually!

And, obviously, as you received my card, you know I have nothing but good feelings for your lovely mother!
