This could be some pretty bad advice, irresponsible to say the least, but *IF* you can afford it, I'd quit your job and look for something else.
That amount of money and your apparent general lack of interest/fulfillment from it definitely don't seem worth the sacrifices you're making.
You'll never get this time back. I was fortunate enough to have a very flexible campus job in undergrad that let me take off weeks at a time every semester to travel with my family, and I would not have changed a thing. There are memories you could be making with your family and loved ones that you clearly value more than your commitment to that job.
All I know is, I would not want to devote my time and energy to something that didn't offer even the slightest bit of leeway.
